Ocean River has been commercially sea kayaking in the Abel Tasman National Park since 1987. The Company's status of being a premier kayaking company is reflected in the quality of systems, the equipment provided, base facilities and the record of safe and successful operations.

Ocean River's kayaking guides are some of the most experienced in New Zealand and many of them guide in other outdoor pursuits during Winter.

However, Ocean River is open all year round, offering guided sea kayaking trips (no experience required) and sea kayak rentals (experience required).  Additional facilities include a recently installed hot tub!

This is an opportunity to have a true "wild animal" adventure.  Place yourself in the hands of these experienced guides and swim with friendly seals who will enjoy the company, even though they have never been fed or otherwise enticed by human hands.
